Spoons Cafe was a very successful sandwich shop in Wayland Square from 1998 through 2008. Its owner/operator, Mark Loomis, is an Eastsider with strong community ties and is a frequent shopper at Eastside Marketplace. Many of his former customers also shop at Eastside Marketplace. Whenever they would run into each other at our store they would say to Mark how much they missed their favorite sandwich. And Mark thought what if Eastside Marketplace could sell Spoons sandwiches?? And so the collaboration began. We are proud to offer six of Spoons signature sandwiches in our food court.
      The first two are cold wraps. They are the Spoons Curry Willow Tree Chicken Wrap and the Spoons Tuna-Hummus Wrap. The remaining four sandwiches can be served hot or cold. We will be offering them prepackaged, too. They are the Smokin’ Turkey, the Peppered Turkey, the Cuban, and the Grilled Chicken and Brie.
